Yet again I’m stuck in the house. The car has been taken away from me again. Not because I filled it with the wrong petrol, and not because I got a speeding ticket. But just because the family think I need a rest and to sit inside all day. Not happy. However, these past few weeks I’ve had a car so I’ve been driving around here, there and everywhere. Some of the girls and me drove to a place called Troyes, which was nice but essentially just a lot of churches and slanted houses.
Encore une fois je suis coincée à la maison. La famille m’a pris la voiture encore. Pas parce que j'ai fait le plein avec de l’essence au lieu de diesel, et pas parce que j’ai reçu ‘PV pour excès de vitesse !’ Mais, la famille pense que j’ai besoin de me reposer toute la journée dans la maison ! Je ne suis pas heureuse. Cependant, ces dernières semaines j’ai eu une voiture donc j’ai conduit partout dans la région. Quelques filles et moi avons conduit dans un endroit qui s’appelle Troyes. L’endroit était bien mais essentiellement il y avait beaucoup d’églises et des maisons penchées.
Also, I’m trying to go to Paris at least once a week to see the millions of stuff that there is to see there. Last week took me to the Jardin du Luxembourg, The Grand Mosque of Paris, the Jardin les Plantes and St Sulpice which was used for the Da Vinci Code. Also, I found an amazing bagel place so grabbed a fat bagel and sat in the Luxembourg Gardens, whilst getting snapped at my Chinese tourists.
Aussi, j’essaie d’aller à Paris au moins une fois par semaine, parce que je veux voir tous les trucs à Paris. La semaine dernière, j’ai visité les Jardins du Luxembourg, La Grande Mosquée de Paris, les Jardins des Plantes et St Sulpice, qui a été utilisée pour le film ‘The Da Vinci Code.’ Aussi, j’ai trouvé un café de bagel superbe ! Donc, j’ai acheté un bagel et je me suis assise dans les Jardins du Luxembourg, tandis que les touristes chinois me prenaient en photos !
Finally, last weekend I had an amazing weekend! Firstly, I met Charlotte in Paris with Stefan, because he was running the marathon, and we drank wine, ate fat french food and I probably got a bit sunburnt. Then in the evening the gals and I went round to Kaylees house and watched a French stag party lounge in the hot-tub, and then we drank a lot of sangria.
Finalement, pendant le weekend dernier, j’ai passé un weekend superbe ! D’abord, j’ai vu Charlotte à Paris, et nous nous sommes promenées atour de la ville. Il faisait beau et je pense que j’ai eu un coup de soleil. Ensuite, pendant la soirée je suis allée chez mon ami pour boire beaucoup de sangria et manger, donc j’ai eu la gueule de bois dimanche, la musique à Fontainebleau pendant toute la journée du dimanche ne m'a pas aidée.
